Based in South West Cornwall, Dan Pye founded Norsk Carpentry and Building in 2006
Dan holds a current SMSTS Site Management Qualification with the CITB.

Dan originally trained in Fine Art but found a love in using his hands and being creative within the building industry. A carpenter and joiner in the main, he served an informal apprenticeship with a carpentry and building firm that took a special interest in timber construction, using natural and locally sourced materials and traditional building techniques. 
Over the years, Dan has taken on all sorts of projects from heritage joinery and sash window restoration to large scale barn conversions. From ultra modern timber frame buildings to bespoke kitchens, giving Dan and his team a really holistic approach to projects and a wide range of skills.
Since forming Norsk Carpentry and Building LTD, Dan and his team have partnered with some of the leading architects in Cornwall. With attention to detail and a high level of finish being a focus for all our projects it's no wonder many of our builds have been featured in national and international design and build magazines.
