This project was designed to provide additional space for a growing pre-school, creating a bright and welcoming environment for learning and play. Norsk delivered a timber frame extension that integrates seamlessly with the existing building, enhancing both its function and appearance.

Natural materials were central to the design, with green larch flooring, exposed larch beams, and external cladding bringing warmth, texture, and a strong connection to nature.

The front elevation was raised to maximise natural light, with generous glazing flooding the interior and creating an open, uplifting space for children and staff.

The result is a considered, sustainable extension that supports early years education through thoughtful design.
